RMP-1 “Vigilant” Rapid Mobility Platform

Designation: RMP-1 “Vigilant”
Type: Urban Patrol Rapid-Response Vehicle
Division: Omni-Security / SPU Enforcement Branch
Role: High-speed pursuit, perimeter response, and algorithmic compliance transport.

Overview

The RMP-1 Vigilant is a single-operator rapid-mobility unit designed to extend the patrol range and response time of Standard Patrol Units (SPUs) across dense city cores.

While heavy Praetorian frames dominate suppression and mechanized control, the Vigilant specializes in precision mobility—delivering a balance between aerial lift and ground traction through hybrid mag-repulsion and wheel-based stabilization.

Developed within the Omni-Security Transit Division, the RMP-1 was engineered to operate efficiently in the narrow corridors, elevated lanes, and vertical patrol routes of Erebus City and other Tier-One Arcologies.
Its hybrid propulsion system enables silent movement, rapid acceleration, and micro-stabilized control under Algorithmic supervision.

Design Philosophy

Unlike larger tactical frames, the Vigilant prioritizes velocity, efficiency, and precision. Its compact geometry allows patrols through narrow causeways and upper-tier transport lanes where larger vehicles can’t maneuver. The hubless rear drive wheel eliminates rotational drag and conceals a magnetic coil assembly that doubles as a reactive braking field—stopping the craft within two meters from top speed.

The white bodywork and blue patrol lights serve a dual purpose: public visibility under Algorithmic law and symbolic purity of order.
When viewed from above, the blue halo pattern emitted by its undercarriage forms the shape of the World Council’s compliance sigil—a reminder of surveillance and control.

Operational Context

Deployed primarily within Erebus, New Yarta, and Nazirah, RMP-1 units form the first response vector for Algorithmic disruptions and civilian non-compliance incidents.
Their silence and speed make them ideal for Algorithmic audit sweeps, crowd dispersal, and escorting high-priority convoys.
Each vehicle maintains an active telemetry link to the city’s L.E.D.G.E.R. Mobility Grid, logging every maneuver, acceleration pattern, and power discharge to ensure conformity with Algorithmic patrol protocols.

Technical Specifications

Propulsion Architecture: Dual-band magnetic repulsion array integrated into the frame, combined with a single hubless rear drive wheel for directional traction and assisted vertical thrust.

Speed & Maneuvering: Maximum velocity of 285 km/h (urban-safe capped at 160 km/h). Capable of lateral shifts and instant braking through magnetic vector inversion.

Power Source: Modular Aether-Cell Capacitor—same energy core as the SPU exosuit—allowing shared recharge ports and standardized swap-outs in field.

Control System: NeuraSync Command Relay interface; responds to micro-gestures, neural intent mapping, and AI-assisted stability correction. Can operate autonomously under Algorithmic remote override.

Frame Composition: Carbon-titanium composite with reactive nano-armor coating. White enforcement livery with high-visibility blue patrol light arrays and reflective identification glyphs.

Defensive Features: Kinetic-shield generator (short-burst), acoustic deterrent emitters, and flare-based counter-drone suppression module.

Armament (Optional): Non-lethal restraint launchers, pulse-flare cannons, or sonic disrupters integrated into front housing for riot control.

AI Integration: Onboard Mobius-Class tactical subroutine, interfacing directly with the operator’s SPU suit. Provides predictive pathing, threat classification, and live compliance analytics.

Appearance

  • Color: Matte white with faint blue luminant trim

  • Silhouette: Aerodynamic forward-leaning chassis, minimal profile

  • Rear Assembly: Large hubless wheel framed by magnetic drive coils

  • Front Geometry: Twin stabilizer vanes with micro-thrusters for balance

  • Lighting: Blue patrol arcs, sequential perimeter strobes, SPU glyphs on side hull

  • Sound: Low electromagnetic hum, near-silent under 60 km/h
